WHAT:
Punchline Agency is a literary and communications agency that represents people good on the page and stage. If you are working on an idea or project that you want to fine tune or figure out how to get from A-Z or anything in between, this is the place. Who is your audience? What are you trying to say? Is there a there there?
WHO:
Everyone has something to say. Some of us use humor online, musical pros, physical art, words on a page or said on a stage. Maybe you've started a company that says something clear to a specific niche, or you started an instagram account to connect instantaneously with the world.
Regardless of the platform or audience, your life is crucial and it says something. That's exciting (and frightening) to think about.
HOW:
Getting your idea out of your head and communicated in some form will help you fine tune what you are trying to say and create. If you want a listening ear, a detailed eye and achievable ideas and connections for your next steps, you’ve come to the right place!
JOY - FOUNDER
I’m Joy and I founded Punchline Agency in 2017 to help writers and speakers. Prior to starting Punchline, I first dipped my toe into the world of communications by getting my Communication Studies degree from Westmont College in 2004.
After several years of being the Director of marriage conferences with thousands of attendees at each event, I started blogging on the topic of relationships and created over 500 video and written blogs and spoke internationally to crowds of up to 12k people.
Eventually, through randomly taking Improv Comedy classes to improve my own communication skills, I realized that what I was most energized by was the skill of heightening another persons idea.
This skill has played out as I work with creatives and communicators to heighten their ideas, create a plan of action for them to reach their goals or introduce and connect them to people I think they should know. I look forward to discussing your next idea, book, keynote or project with you, and if I am not the right person to help you, I will find someone who can.

Amelia - punchline publishers coordinator and editor
This is Amelia Graves and she lives in Colorado Springs, CO with her beloved hound, Pepper. She works to coordinate all things Punchline Publishers for our authors, and offers some editing services as well.
Amelia loves thinking outside of the box, connecting ideas, and finding ways to make someone's specific voice and style shine. She spends her time doing deep dives on details and context, and is the type of person who googles the endings of movies so she can better enjoy the storyline without getting distracted by the mystery of the ending. She has a Master's in English and experience in editing and writing. She has a knack for clarifying messages to make sure they hit home with readers, and her favorite part of working is when she gets to collaborate with someone else. That's where the real magic happens.
Though her days are often spent working with words, she loves to get outside and explore the beautiful mountains—whether rock and ice climbing, hiking, or skiing in them. She also firmly believes that no day is complete without a bowl of ice cream at the end of it.
