Leah Boden has been standing on stages with a microphone in hand since her early years in the school choir! Surprised by her ability (and love) to speak to large crowds despite her shy start in life, Leah has been singing, speaking and hosting in varying capacities since her teenage years. Leah has continued to channel her passion for communication through conference hosting, radio show broadcasting, podcasting and conference speaking, all whilst raising her four children.

For the last 15 years, Leah has found herself building a platform and becoming a leading voice in the homeschooling arena. Leah speaks and writes for the internationally renowned "Wild and Free" community, in Europe and the USA, as well as speaking for many other growing homeschool conferences around the UK, Europe and America. Leah brings a confident, refreshing and encouraging voice into motherhood and education. Recently, Leah published Modern Miss Mason: Discover How Charlotte Mason’s Revolutionary Ideas on Home Education Can Change How You and Your Children Learn and Grow Together with Tyndale in January 2023, as well as Moments On Mothering: Reflective Inspiration From One Mother To Another published in 2015.

Leah Boden, keynote speaker of our 2019 A Garden & A Library conference, is a seasoned voice of grace to the homeschool community. She came out all the way out from the UK to be with us in Northern California, bringing several inspiring messages. Leah encouraged us in practical ways to make learning a life-giving experience for our children through literature, poetry and the wonder of nature. Leah’s genuine kind and joyful mama heart radiates hope and encouragement to all she meets. Our homeschool community will forever be grateful to have had Leah with us.

When I first began to get serious about the Charlotte Mason method, it seemed so overwhelming to me, until I was introduced to Leah Boden. Leah has a knack for teaching others how rich, and yet how simple the “feast” really is. She opened my eyes to how attainable the lifestyle can be for anyone. I learned that it wasn’t a rigid homeschool program, but a way of life. You come away from one of Leah’s talks feeling as if she truly does care about you. It’s obvious that she desires to come alongside you so that you can homeschool the best way you know how.
