Liz Vice
Liz Vice was working in film in Portland Oregon when a friend recognized she had a powerful voice. That friend, (singer and song-writer Josh White) asked if he could write her an album. Her 2012 debut Gospel, soul, and R&B-infused album entitled, “There’s A Light.” Her music career started in 2012, with the studio album, There's a Light, that was originally released with the Deeper Well Collective, and was later re-released by Ramseur Records. The album was her breakthrough release upon the Billboard magazine charts, where it peaked at No. 6 on the Top Gospel Albums chart, and No. 13 on the R&B Albums chart.
Liz has collaborated with many artist including, Blitzen Trapper, Josh White, Josh Garrels, Eshon Burgandy, Micah Bournes, and more. She has opened for artist such as Joss Stone, Lecrae, The Wood Brothers, The Blind boys of Alabama, The Temptations, and has been featured on NBCBLK, NPR music, and OPB's Season and more.
Raised in Portland, Oregon and a recent resident of Brooklyn, NY, Liz went from the film industry to music and is now ready to share more of her story on stage. She splits her time between being a music director at a neighborhood church and touring around the country. Liz is very passionate about bringing people together and connecting with her audience to create a sense of home wherever she is. Having overcome many personal obstacles, she credits her adventurous life and comical outlook to not forcing anything but being willing to risk.
