Ryan george

Ryan George is an adventure blogger who has documented travel to all seven continents and both polar circles. He is the author of Scared to Life: Tales of a Good God Who Reveals His Heart When Ours Is Racing (2021, Punchline Publishers) as well as Word on the Street, an almost-irreverent devotional book (2005, Redemption Press). Ryan has written for RelevantMagazine.com, The Open Forum by American Express, and a half dozen trade journals. His prose and his poetry have both won writing awards and might’ve helped him capture the heart of Crystal, now his wife of 22 years. Ryan cofounded and co-leads Dude Group, a spiritual adventure community for men. He also hosts the Everyday Adventures podcast and has been heard on more than 20 podcast, radio, TV, and other live interviews which you can watch or listen to here.

Ryan has been a virtual marketing assistant for 20 years, advertising 9,000+ events in 49 states and seven foreign countries, winning 250+ advertising awards along the way. He's an Enneagram 7w8 who still plays with LEGOs and regularly jumps in his office’s giant pillow pit. He's a MINI Cooper enthusiast who loves disc golf, paragliding, bungee jumping, ice climbing, and wing-walking. Ryan enjoys inspiring others, challenging them to follow Jesus outside of their comfort zones. Ryan has recently written his third book about faith reconstruction.
