TORI HOPE PETERSEN
Tori Hope Petersen is the bestselling author of Fostered (October 2022, B&H Books) and sought-out national speaker, inspiring audiences to overcome, hold onto hope, and change the world with what they have, right where they are, by loving the people in front of them. Fostered hit multiple bestseller lists, including Publisher’s Weekly and ECPA.
She has been married to her husband, Jacob, since 2018 and they both strive to love relentlessly and be radically inclusive to reflect our greatest passion, the Gospel. Since they moved into our first, very small apartment, Jacob avidly buys chairs. They see it as a reflection of their hearts — creating space to welcome in and love more people.
In 2020, they founded Beloved Initiative, a nonprofit that seeks to change the narrative for youth in foster care. Together, they raise a four-year-old boy, a two-year-old girl, a young adult adopted son and Tori’s biological sister.
